Yutte Stensgaard, is a Danish model, and actress born in Thisted, on the Jutland (Jylland in Danish) peninsular on the
14th of May, 1946.
She was named Jytte Stensgaard, but changed the spelling of Jytte to Yutte upon moving to the United
Kingdom in 1963 at the age of 19.
For a time she worked as an au pair and model but she soon found her way into films
and is probably best remembered for playing Mircalla in the Hammer horror film 'Lust for a Vampire'.
Some may also
remember her as a hostess on the popular TV games show 'The Golden Shot' which was hosted by the late great Bob Monkhouse.
In
recent years, she has become more and more obscure, a great shame, Yutte will always be remembered however by her fans who
clamour to see her in a rare appearance at a convention...and by fans of classic British Horror in general.
